Travel Vaccinations

The UK childhood vaccination programme protects against a number of diseases, but it doesn’t cover against most infectious diseases found overseas. Therefore if you’re planning to travel abroad you will need to find out if your childhood vaccinations are up to date and if you will need further vaccinations to protect you from infection.

If required our Practice Nurse can give you a booster of your UK vaccinations, please note that not all vaccinations are provided free on the NHS – even if they’re recommended for travel to a certain countries.

Some travel vaccinations are available free on the NHS because they protect against diseases thought to present the greatest risk to public health if they were brought into the country.  Find out which travel vaccinations are free here.

Unfortunately we are not able to provide some travel vaccinations; please enquire before booking an appointment.
