Non-NHS Work

Private Work (Forms, Letters and Reports)

As registered Data Controllers we have a duty to protect the confidential data of our patients, civil monetary penalties can be imposed for serious contraventions .

To comply with relevant legislation, we do not write letters to employers, schools etc. and any such requests will be denied.  

Some work we do fall outside what is considered NHS work.

Please note that some forms and reports are considered non-NHS services (Private) work and may incur a charge, patients requiring such work from the Doctors will be given our fees and charges leaflet, examples of non-NHS work are below

  • Pre-employment and driving medicals e.g.
  • Insurance forms
  • Passport signing
  • Private sick notes
  • Fitness to travel, play sport etc
Please do not make an appointment with the GP for non-NHS work, please contact Reception who will follow procedure.
