There are 5 steps you can take to improve your mental health and wellbeing. Trying these things could help you feel more positive and able to get the most out of life.

What’s available

Wellbeing Review – Community Wellbeing Officers can provide the time and support that is necessary to help you move forward in your life. They have the time to really listen to you and understand any problems you may have and will work with you to develop a plan to help you move forward.

Courses/Training – Do something you love – Learn how to dance the Tango, or how to manage your finances, whatever your learning need, there will be a course available for you.

Volunteer/Get Involved – As a volunteer, you’ll receive training and support so that you can get involved in community projects that you enjoy. You can become a Volunteer Wellbeing Officer working in health and/or social care; you can help to co-facilitate educational courses or you may prefer to take up an administrative or project support role. Whatever your skills and interests, there will be a role for you. It is also a great way to build up your CV and gain practical experience.
